Brad Caleb Kane is a seasoned American producer, writer, and showrunner with a diverse background in the entertainment industry. Born on September 29, 1973, in New Rochelle, New York, Kane began his career in the arts at a young age, initially gaining recognition as the singing voice of Aladdin in Disney’s 1992 animated classic.

Professional Journey

Transitioning from performance to production, Kane has built an impressive résumé in television. He has held key roles in several acclaimed series, including:

  • Fringe (2008–2009): Serving as a writer and co-producer, Kane contributed to the development of this science fiction series, co-writing episodes such as “The Cure,” “The No-Brainer,” and “Inner Child.”
  • Black Sails (2014–2017): As a producer, he played a significant part in bringing this historical adventure series to life, showcasing his ability to manage complex narratives and production demands.

In August 2024, Kane was appointed as the showrunner, creator, writer, and executive producer for Crystal Lake, the upcoming prequel series to the Friday the 13th franchise. Expressing his enthusiasm for the project, Kane stated, “From the moment I watched Jason Voorhees squeeze a guy’s eyeball out of its socket (in glorious 3D!) at the tender age of 8 years old, I knew my creative path was someday destined to converge with The Man Behind The Mask.
