Fans of “Friday the 13th” are in for a treat as Waxwork Records and Terror Vision unveil thrilling releases.

In a move that blends classic horror with contemporary collectibles, Waxwork Records has an electrifying offering for “Friday the 13th” aficionados. Celebrating the iconic 1980 slasher, the label has prepared a deluxe bundle that includes a 4K UHD Steelbook of the original film and a freshly pressed vinyl soundtrack. This collector’s dream is not just about revisiting the classic but experiencing it in a whole new light.

The bundle features a “Blood Red & Black” swirl colored vinyl, drawing from the chilling themes of the movie. The vinyl comes with a new slipcase showcasing artwork reminiscent of Waxwork’s 1980 soundtrack release, designed by Jay Shaw and Jacqui Oakley. These visuals promise to capture the essence of the horror that “Friday the 13th” fans relish.

Deluxe packaging envelops this special edition, which includes liner notes from director Sean Cunningham and composer Harry Manfredini, providing insights into the creation of the film’s haunting score. To complete the package, a 12″x12″ art print adds an artistic nod to the film’s enduring legacy.

Each cassette, retailing for $13—a playful nod to the franchise’s theme—features the original covers that capture the essence of each film. Available now, these cassettes are a must-have for collectors and new fans alike, adding a vintage touch to any “Friday the 13th” collection.
